Inversion IPA (Deschutes Brewery) 3/5

Amber color, sweet citrus aroma. Flavor is slightly metallic and a little grassy. The usual pine and grapefruit aftertaste. Honestly, this isn’t doing much for me. As much as I dislike the overly-hopped IPAs so often found on the west coast, this one is too sweet for me. The malts are overpronounced for the style. Nothing against Deschutes. They are a good brewery: I like their Red Chair American Pale Ale and their Streaking The Quad beer.
